Best phone I've ever had September 28, 2008 K. Volle (New Mexico) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The Samsung Alias (or SCH-u740 for people who own the older one) is still the best phone I've ever owned. Landscape mode is perfect for playing games, surfing the web, watching videos and texting. Standard mode is comfortable for talking and the call qualitly is great. The features are pretty good as well. There's your standard stuff like an alarm clock, notepad, calculator, stopwatch and calendar. There are other apps available for download from Verison (for a fee, of course). This is a great phone if you decide to subscribe to their V Cast service because the speakers are nice and loud and the screen is bright and sharp. You will have to get used to the QWERTY keyboard at first because the keys are pretty small. But with some practice you'll do just fine. There are some things that will only work in landscape mode however and I don't like that too much... Not a real big of a deal since you'll mainly use it in landscape mode for everything other than talking anyway. Get it!
One of the best phones out there! August 29, 2008 J. Bayer (Bethesda, MD USA) 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
this is by far one of the best phones out there. i recently added music onto it, and the quality was even better than that of an I-pod(not that i don't like ipods, i have one). the ability to flip vertically or horizontally is a great feature and easy to use. if you get this phone, you will have the coolest phone around.
I Love This Phone! August 2, 2008 Trina Maldonado (Minneapolis, MN) 9 out of 12 found this review helpful
I've had this phone for about a month and I'm still fascinated with it. It's functional, lightweight, and it comes with a ton of features. In it's expandable mode it is surprisingly durable. I've dropped the phone twice and it still works!
Love my Alias November 16, 2008 GlitterFairy (Waterford, NY USA) When it was time for a new phone, a friend suggested I try her Alias since she knew I was interested in a qwerty keypad - wow, I really love the dual keypad on this phone!
Great Phone November 16, 2008 Romance Addict This phone is great; I've had it for about a month. The phone is small considering it has a QWERTY keyboard. The only two downsides of this phone is it takes a lot of time to send picture messages, and the buttons are a bit small (you will get used to it). Otherwise, it is a great phone. I'm really impressed, and I would definitley recommend it.
