I bought this seesaw not expecting too much for the price. It is however very durable, it was super easy to put together, and my 2 youngest kids, ages 6 and 4, love it! I can't see it being big enough for your average 8 year old though, I have a 9 year old, and he's a little small for his age, this seesaw isn't big enough for him. But if you have little ones then this is definately the way to go!
