 Awesome Quality - A perfect collection toy February 7, 2008

My english isn't so well, so I will only say some details about this awesome "toy".
Physic details of Billy are impressive, it looks like it's painted by hand.
The quality of the sound of the phrases isn't so well, but it doesn't matter because the laughing is so real and so scary.
The tricycle is cute and funny.
Billy is very well protected by the box, I live in Chile (south america) and the toy arrived from EEUU in perfect conditions because the box does a good job.
To have a mini replica of Billy on his tricycle es unpayable. I love it.
I think it's a beautiful collection toy for Saw fans like me. I put it beside my Desktop PC

Very fun toy...just be prepared to have a crowbar to get it out of the packaging...a little overkill in my opinion.

While looking for Billy to spice up the household, I ran across this selection and liked some things about it. First, it does look the part and it does talk the part to a point. The voice isn't bad (compressed, but not bad) and, when using it to creep someone out, it can do a lot for you. It is also a 12" inch figure on a nice sized mode of transport so people don't miss out on it.
The things I didn't like: (1) It is made of plastic, not like the wonders of Saw at all. It poses on the bike, doesn't really hug it like Billy does, and that is disappointing. It wouldn't have been that hard to make it out of cloth or semi-cloth just to give it a Saw appeal. (2) The phrases, while nice, aren't what I wanted. I needed some "I want to play a game" type motifs to spice up the world and scare people. Others may not find this to be problematic but, when I when I think Saw, I think this phrase. I actually wanted to buy this one because of that but, to my chagrin, it wasn't included. It does say:
"So are you going to watch yourself die today? Or do something about it? There are ways to win this. Let the game begin. Live or die, make your choice. Congratulations, you are still alive." O, and it likes to laugh, which is a creepy plus.
(3) You cannot listen to the thing before you buy it online or at the store. The box doesn't actually even list the things it says - you have to have a summary to spell everything out for you - and that can be annoying because the voice might not be what you want.
Alone these things are not deal-breakers but, when combined, they don't make me happy.
Really, the fact that it was made out of plastic and was poseable killed the whole effect for me.
You may like it BUT you might want to see one before buying. I thought some of the things it said (especially the laughter) were creepy but, as I said before, the plastic that is placed atop its tricycle doesn't really do what I need. I wanted Billy to be like Billy, not like a variation of Billy at this size (if it were smaller or the Bobblehead - a beautiful little toy - it would be different). Still, the pros and cons are personal preferences and a person who can overlook these issues would find the toy a great one.

I never received this product and was never able to get in touch with the person who had it online so I had a HORRIBLE experience with this and will refrain from buying anything from Amazon for a long time if ever.
