5 out of 5 stars Possibly the best board game ever.   April 29, 2008

I'm 22 and entertain a lot. I was in the mall and this game caught my eye. As vocal and opinionated as I am, I couldn't resist getting it. The game was DEFINITELY worth it. I played it at a party that weekend and we were all laughing so hard we were crying. Ever since then it's the one game that everyone requests I bring. The stuff you have to argue about is super ridiculous (Which is better, nose hair or ear hair?) which prevents any real arguments or hard feelings. It also encourages everyone to be REALLY creative in order to have the best argument.

Not only is it a lot of fun and a ton of laughs, it is a wonderful icebraker to anyone new to a group. The rules are easy enough to learn (It takes a practice round or two to get them down) and it is easy to play: just have an opinion. Some of my more shy friends have really come out of their shells while playing this game as well.

In the end it really doesn't matter who won the game because everyone had a really good time playing it!

5 out of 5 stars My Favorite Party Game ever!!!   December 20, 2007

I abosolutely love this game. If you have the right group of people, this game is an absolute riot. If your family or friends like to talk or if you have a loud family like mine, this game is perfect. The funniest part is the silly things that you can make someone do while arguing. Like debating the topic in between making silly faces, having to sing or rap your argument or having to argue your point while laying on the floor. It is also great when someone is forced to argue against what they really think. It can get competitive because voting is involved, and the debate over the who won the debate is part of the fun.

5 out of 5 stars Fun Game!   January 2, 2008

I played Argue for the first time with a group of friends at a party and it did not disappoint! It takes quite the process to get through this game as it takes two rounds with many steps in the arguing and voting process, so I would not recommend it for elementary-aged children. Argue would be great for high schoolers on the debate team (my husband was on the team many years ago, which proved helpful). For adults, it was just great fun. We were almost brought to tears with laughter a couple times.

4 out of 5 stars Good for native speakers, even better for ESL students   May 15, 2007

I have used this game with my ESL students many times now, and they have all loved it! It is a great way to get people to relax and focus on speaking without thinking too much about making mistakes. I highly recommend it. Argue is also a great games to play with friends. It will lead to many laughs and possibly endless debates. Check it out....

1 out of 5 stars Complicated   January 7, 2008

This game was more complicated than i expected. Wasn't very fun. Had a time limit per each argument, which was sometimes too long or too short. Game did not pique our interest at all and we will probably never play again. What a waste of money!
