Product Description John Deere Mighty Trike from Learning Curves... now THIS is a trike! Driveways and play yards are no match for this rugged 3-wheeler! Constructed of sturdy tubular steel and detailed in the iconic John Deere yellow and green. HUGE rubber tires with thick tread roll over any obstacle in Junior's way, and cruise over grass, gravel or sidewalks with equal ease. Trust me, he'll grow out of it before he grows tired of it! Ages 3 and over. Measures 34 x 26". Order Today! John Deere Mighty Trike from Learning Curves
Editorial Review Big, simple, and strong--especially strong--are the three words that define this tricycle. Its all-metal construction makes it several times the weight of many competitors, but how many of them have a warranty that reads "Ten years or 10,000 miles"? This brute has monster-sized inflatable tires (10 inches in diameter by 3.5 inches wide at the back, and 15 inches by almost 4 inches at the front). The frame looks strong enough to ride through a brick wall, and the seat--also metal, and not exactly built for comfort--adjusts infinitely along the sloped main frame. A simple hole-and-pin hitch at the back is perfect for towing. Adult assembly is required. --Richard Farr

john deere trike June 5, 2005 deere fan (upstate ny) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have to say this is built like a deere and shows it. My grandson loves it. He is 4yrs old. It is a large trike and exceptionally well built. The tires on it make you say why arent all tricycles built like this . He likes it because he is not restricted to the sidewalk and uses it like his very own atv. Nothing slows him down. When he is on it he is King of the trike gang. It has built up his muscles and stamina. Because Poppy wont carry it and he likes to show off. he rides it over everything including my wifes garden. I would say if you dont have a tuff farm raised boy, this might not be the trike for you maybe a nice light plastic one for the city kids but me and mine will run with the deere.
This trike is a hit! August 22, 2006 Mother Duck 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We had purchased this same bike over 4 years ago and it is still going strong. My four boys have ridden this trike over and over and sometimes even fight over it. My youngest, age 2 1/2 can manuever it quite easily as the seat is adjustable. I recommend the seat to be placed high for the little ones as they can reach the pedals much easier. Even my 9 year old still wants to ride from time to time. (He is the typical size for 9 years)I agree that the bike is a bit heavy, and one of my boys struggled with that for a little bit but he's mastered it now. This is a very durable bike which has outlasted any plastic ride-on toy that we've ever owned! So I'm now purchasing one for my nephew. Oh, and before I forget, there is also a wagon attachment that may be purchased seperately which can haul just about anything your child desires.
Best tricycle ever August 15, 2005 Father of 3 tricycle motors (Hudson, WI United States) We first got it for my 3year old daughter. It then was used by my next daughter and now my son. Awesome trike! Pump the tires up and let them go. across the yard, off curbs you name it. Currenty my 2 1/2 year old son rides it and nothing stops him. The trike stands up to anything, even being partially run over with the car. Only down side is that may kids can go so fast on it (even two year old) it should have brakes beyond them putting their feet down. When my daughters were about 5 they could give me a ride when I stood on the back (level driveway).
My son LOVES his trike April 25, 2006 posie (PA USA) my son recieved this trike for his 3rd birthday two weeks ago and it is by far his fave gift of all of them! (thanks mimi & poppy!!!) we go for daily walks/rides on it, weather permitting. its great because he gets tuckered out from pedalling and tends to nap more readily after weve taken a long walk or two (yay for mommy!) he was even featured on his trike on the front page of our local paper yesterday! [...] this is a heavy trike but my boy is robust and strong so its no problem to ride, even through the grass in our yard.
Timmy's John Deere November 4, 2006 James P. Pozerski (Abington, MA) My 3 year old received this for his birthday in August. He loves it!!! My husband and I liked it more at the beginning but each time a peddle falls off, we get a little bit more aggravated with it. We have had to put the peddles back on this bike at least 10 times in 2 1/2 months. It would be more enjoyable if it was made a little bit better.
