I'll keep this short and sweet - after all, how much can you write about cat litter? This product is excellent.... there is virtually no odor that emanates from my cat's litter box. And, he seems to like it, after "rejecting" several other types of clay-based litters. The clumping feature works well and allows me to easily scoop each day. And nothing beats clicking on "buy it now" and having it arrive at my door with no sales tax in a few days. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product, and so is my cat.

I have used this litter for probably 9 months now. I have two senior Himalayan cats. They have had no problem adjusting to the new litter (although they will use just about anything - not picky). It does fairly well in the dust category. With the clay based litter - there is literally a "clay" smell in EVERYTHING in that room (stored clothes, paint, furniture, etc) not to mention a light coat of clay dust. The corn litter keeps the smell down to a minimum. A little bit tracks out of the box, but it doesn't go far, just put down a mat. The corn litter seems to clump ok. We don't flush the clumps - so I can't comment on that. I have found that when it clumps to the side of the litter box, it nearly cements itself, and almost "eats" at the plastic. It's hard to explain. It's just a plastic litter box - so not that big of a deal - but just thought I would mention it. We have also used this litter in a lift-n-sift type box - and it seems to work just fine.

I absolutely love this cat litter! I have used clay-based litter for the last thirty plus years without ever thinking about trying any other type. I looked into getting a mechanical cat box which recommended the use of a premium cat litter such as this type, and after reading the reviews about this brand, decided to try it. It's fantastic! No more dusty clay litter to inhale (no matter how long you hold your breath) and there's considerably less tracking! I also noticed that there's less dust, in general, in the area where the cat box is kept.
On the first day (and only on the first day) one of my three cats did eat some, but I had read that this might happen in one of the reviews, and expected it. It took only a couple of days for my cats to get used to this litter along with their new mechanical litter box. Some people complained that this litter smells stronger than clay. I don't find this to be a problem as the mechanical litter box keeps the litter clean. But even before I had a mechanical box, I cleaned the litter box several times a day, so once again, odor would not be a problem anyway. (There's no way I would force my cats to walk through a mine-field full of cat waste!) I also find that I don't use as much of this litter (by weight) as my old clay litter which results in less lugging around of heavy containers! I'm sold, with or without a mechanical box!
And most importantly---no harmful silica dust for your cats or you to inhale!

I don't know if some of these reviews are for the "regular" World's Best instead of the Extra Strength or what... but I have been using World's Best Extra Strength cat litter for my two Maine Coons ever since we got the cats 10 months ago. One of the breeders recommended it. It is not smelly at all! There is no dust, no smell (other than right after the cat poops, but that happens when people use the bathroom, too!), and it clumps really well.
The 34lb bags are a good size to fill two litter boxes and replenish the boxes for a few weeks before I feel like I should completely replace the litter.
We went on a short vacation once (2 days) and wanted to leave the cats with extra litter. Since this stuff is so expensive, we filled the extra litter box with some of the cheaper, clay-based litter. That stuff was awful! It smelled, the clumps fell apart more, and it was just nasty after a few days. That's when I was convinced that this really is the world's best litter.
Anyway, one thing that I did hear from one breeder: Some cats are allergic to the corn-based litters. So if you buy this stuff and your cat starts acting funny (scratching a lot, etc.), he or she could be allergic to it. Fortunately for me, both of my cats love this stuff.

This cat litter is much better than I thought it would be. I have a littermaid automatic cat litter box and it works great in it. It is much better than the nasty clay litters. It does not stick to the bottom, sides, comb or resivoir which keeps it much cleaner and more sanitary. No dust is a huge plus too!! It controls odors as well as the high end clay litters and cost just about the same. I really wish I would have known about this litter sooner. I could have saved my cat and I years of breathing in the traditional stuff and it is much better for the environment.
