Excellent, these Steps are Stable, not bendable August 4, 2007 K. Henry (TX) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
These are great, they're real stable instead of the soft foam steps, although those are nice also. My dog loves these steps, thanks! :o)
Save your litttle guy September 19, 2007 MWW (California USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
We have a very tall bed and our three little guys can only get up on the bed with steps. These steps a simple to set up and best of all EASY TO FOLD UP WHEN YOU WANT YOUR LITTLE GUYS OFF YOU BED OR SOFA.
Great help for our small dog September 20, 2007 Lucrezia (Arkansas City, KS USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Our old chihuahua loves to cuddle but is too small to jump onto the couch/bed. The Solvit PupStep offered a cheap and practical solution. The stairs are sturdy despite being plastic, they can be folded up, and the dog had no trouble learning how to use them. A great product!
Very sturdy considering it's foldable & very light July 12, 2008 Lena, LMT (Nassau, NY) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this for my two Poodle/Shiu Tzu 20-25 lb. pets to climb onto the very tall family member's bed. Naturally, I had to put their paws on it step by step a few times to get them used to it. One was only slightly afraid of it at first & still goes slowly up it, but now he only needs a single simple verbal prodding (he tends to be lazy & want to be picked up.) He uses it to go down as well as he has shorter legs & the jump down must bother him enough to use it. The one who was terrified at first, she now races up it like it's nothing, but has longer, springy legs & does not need it to jump off. It feels like it's barely a pound in weight & does move easily when pushed by a human, the leverage is great & center of gravity is nice & low to keep it stable. It comes w/eight carpet-like sticky treads you see, four for now & four for future replacement. The "button" to lock it in place & push to close/fold is more a cheap latch that's part of the structure that sticks out. It says locked & you have to press very hard to close/fold it again. For the price & convenience of something foldable & lightweight, it's great.
Post Surgery November 7, 2007 J. A. Cox (Oswego, IL) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We bought these steps to help our Malti-Poo get on the bed after having knee surgery on both knees. It took some coaxing (treats)to get him to go up, but he healed and is still using the steps. Now, he loves to run up them and jump on our other dog. We bought a second set so he could get into his favorite lounger, too. These are solid and the stair treads make him feel secure. I don't regret my purchase, and would gladly buy them again, if needed. 9/15/08 These steps are still like new, and he uses them every day. Also keeps him from messing up his back by jumping off the bed.
