Product Description Classic Veranda Cart BBQ Cover. Don't let your grill get cooked by the elements! There's nothing you love more than grilling a few steaks on a warm summer evening, cold drink in hand. But when you're done do you just leave your unprotected grill out on the patio to fend for itself in the harsh summer heat and pounding rainstorms? Not a good idea. Keep your grill looking like new summer after summer by shielding it with this tough, water-resistant Cover made to withstand the unforgiving elements so your grill doesn't have to! And when winter comes rolling in, the hardy fabric won't crack under the pressure of nose-diving temperatures. Adjustable elastic hem cord provides a snug, custom fit; Click-close straps securely lock around the legs so it won't take off with the wind; Gardelle protective fabric system made of 600-denier nylon with water repellent top and water resistant backing; Handles for easy fitting and removal; Air vents to reduce condensation and reduce ballooning when out in the wind; Large zippered pocket for storage; Available in medium, large, XL and XXL; State Size. Grill sizes specified by manufacturer December 20, 2007 Jennifer Macke (New Mexico, USA) 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
I just received the XXL Veranda BBQ cover. In the info from the manufacturer, they provide the following size chart: Medium fits BBQs up to 58" wide and 26" deep Large fits BBQs up to 63" wide and 26" deep XLarge fits BBQs up to 70" wide and 26" deep XXLarge fits BBQs up to 70" wide and 36" deep I think this sizing info is more informative than what Amazon provides. My grill is, in its largest dimensions, 68" x 25". Although the XL might have worked, I am happy with the XXL size, it fits well. I like the appearance and overall quality of this product. It seems to be well-made and functional. My only complaint is that they should have made the straps on the bottom (which attach around the grill wheels or legs) a little bit longer. Either that, or they should have made the whole cover a little bit longer. I can attach 2 of the 4 straps, which is quite sufficient. I'm glad I chose to get the XXL size.
Best grill cover I've seen May 19, 2008 zigzagg (Vashon Island, WA United States) 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
This thing is VERY heavy duty and attractive. A tip. You might notice that this Amazon ad above doesn't tell you how big of a grill each size covers. When you select a size and put it in your shopping cart it will tell you what it can cover. The large is for up to a 64 inch grill. This thing is much nicer than a Weber cover that costs twice as much.
Great quality and attractive! May 22, 2007 Captain Audio (Rochester, NY United States) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
This seems to be a very nice, heavy duty, well made cover. Its made from a woven fabric that could be canvas, but is more likely a heavy duty woven synthetic as is used for a laptop case or piece of luggage. The interior has what appears to be a vinyl layer to make it waterproof. For securing it around the bottom, it has a stretchy drawstring, but I think its kind of useless. The fabric is very heavy and does not really want to wrinkle up like it needs to to make a drawsting work. There are four small loops sewn into the bottom near where the legs of your gril should be. Through each loop is a short strap with a plastic buckle - maybe 8 inches long or so. These straps are designed to buckle around the legs of your grill. But if you have a pedastal grill with no legs (like I do), you can remove the straps from the loops and use some other mechanism to secure the cover. For example, you could get some short bungee cords and connect the front and rear loop on each side to help hold it in place. In any case, because the straps are removable, it offers a lot of flexibility in securing the cover.
High Quality Cover October 2, 2007 Robert Pumer (Cary, NC USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This grill cover was medium/heavy and appears to be a durable material. The cover nicely fit my large grill and has some nice features like vent holes and two handles on top for easy removal. One caveat, the descritpion said 72 inch grills but the box cover indicated 70 inch grills. It did fit my 72 inch grill fine, however I doubt it would fit much more then an inch or two larger.
Wow, excellent all around June 25, 2007 S. Gebke (IL USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box for this thing. This is NOT your average cheap plastic grill cover from the local discount store. It is a nice thick canvas type material that won't crack or rip easily. I bought this for my Charmglow grill from HD and it fits perfectly. I'm already thinking about purchasing some of their other products. When I think about the cheap piece of junk I almost bought for $20 at HD that was made for this grill, I get the shivers!
