Amazon.com Product Description You've seen them in restaurants and theaters--those tubes full of lights proprietors use to mark stair edges and other potential hazards that might be fallen down or tripped over in dim light. That's not to say that Good Earth Lighting's rope lighting products can only be used in public venues--you could use them as funky accent lighting in a living room, party lighting, or to outline a path in your backyard. The key to using these lights to full effect is mounting them securely, and everything you need in order to do this is included in the hardware kit, which contains mounting clips, cable ties, and screws. The lights themselves are extremely long-lasting--they're rated at 35,000 hours, and the heavy-duty PVC rope is an unobtrusive 3/8-inch in diameter. For longer runs, you can easily connect one set to another (up to 330 feet maximum). The G9548CLR-I is 48 feet long, and operates at 120 volts. If you need more length per set, see the 6-, 12-, and 24-foot models (#G9506CLR-I, #G9512CLR-I, #G9524CLR-I). Note that these lights will heat up when in use--they should not be left on unattended. Works Well May 12, 2007 James P. Mcgrath (Philadelphia, PA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I purchased the light rope and it works well. It is one full-length 48' strand. The great thing is that I put it on a dimmer and it really fits well with the room. Processing time could have been a little faster being that I opted for the faster shipping method, but it probably wasn't necessary. A good product though.
Excellent September 14, 2007 MAJ (GA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this to put around our campsite. It stands up to the abuse of walking over it and little feet accidently kicking it. Good quality, great length.
Awesome deal for plenty of light November 7, 2007 Coderpitt (Texas) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Locally they want almost 30$ for 18 feet of rope lighting. This was such a good price, that I got two and saved a lot of money. They connect together in series and light up my campsite like the 4th of July. Great deal for the price.
Lites the places a solar standup lite can't June 4, 2008 C. Fry (Harrisburg PA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought these lites to replace the old ones I had around my flower planter and down the driveway. The old one's casing had become cloudy and they just weren't as bright as they once were. These took the place just fine. These were much cheaper in cost then the originals I had gotten, and light just as brightly. I like the fact that I can place them between the side of the driveway and grass line and (Once staked down into place) they don't move even when trimming. I have put 3 of them all together and find they all are as bright as the single line I have going down the driveway. Good product. In fact, I'm ordering 2 more for the other side of the driveway. Goodbye solar standup lights! These give you a more consistant light instead of just around the solar light itself.
great lighting June 13, 2007 Kathleen S. Thomas (Louisville, KY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
very good price on a great product. We have ours hung on the roof of our deck. Puts off a "romantic" glow.
