This is, simply put, the best case I have ever owned. I can only think of one extremely minor issue that I have with it. The pocket on the back is not as deep as my Sunday newspaper, so the top of the sections closest to the outside get frayed.
Other than that, this is perfect. It has plenty of room for both my iBook, power adapter, the binder I carry regularly, paperwork I work on, my trackball, my digital camera, various cables, and much more. I would recommend this case to anyone that is searching for a new one.
Solid case with great protection April 12, 2008

This outside of this case is made of a semi-solid material that is the perfect mix between a strong, durable, and light material. The inside is a well designed layout that allows for optimal organization. There is a padded pocket specifically for your laptop and plenty of space for a few notebooks. In the front pocket there are a few pockets for pens, calculators, power adapters, etc... two zippered inner compartments. The bottom has 4 solid plastic feet so the bag can stay standing upright.
All in all, a great bag! I payed 60 bucks for it, and that was cheaper than most other cases I looked at, so I'm even more impressed.

Considering that virtually every PC manufacturer is offering one or more laptop models with 17" widescreens, it's still surprisingly difficult to find a decent carrying case that will fit one properly. Plus, within my somewhat limited choices, I was having trouble choosing between the flexibility and convenience of a soft-sided case and the added protection afforded by a hard-sided case. This solves both problems nicely: the padded laptop pocket is 16.54" x 11.54" x 2.0" to fit almost any 17" notebook computer (and Powerbook/MacBook Pro models will fit while inside any of the form-fitting sleeves made for them, for added protection from scratches); and this case is a hybrid of soft- and hard- materials that is quite nice and unique looking. You'll find a little bonus inside: one of Case Logic's small, visor-style CD holders is included, and can be slipped in virtually any of the case's pockets, inside or out. The only problem I've really found is really my own: that is, by seeking a case with slim lines, I've limited how much other junk I can stuff into it. For example, there are a couple of different places/pockets into which you can jam the power brick/cable, but neither is a perfect fit for the monstrous AC adapters that come with 17" Sony VAIO and Gateway notebooks (15.4" IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad bricks are a better, smaller, slimmer design and fit). All in all, I'm quite pleased with this case, and with Case Logic products in general. Their HQ is right up the road from me in Colorado (hence, a good selection is always available in area stores), and their Customer Service folks respond both to email and to phone calls. 4.5 stars.
