I wish they made one big enough for my room! October 2, 2007 Nicole Leishman (IL USA) 25 out of 25 found this review helpful
This is a goregous item! I was hesitant to buy it online, so went to Target to see it for myself. You HAVE to push the button to try it before you can really appreciate it. The pictures on the website just don't do it justice. The lights and motions and sounds that you can't see in pictures are what makes this so special. The lights are bright enough to be really sparkly, but soft, not harsh, amber colored. The movements of the fish and plants are subtle and realistic. The songs and sound effects, several lullabies, bubbles, oceantides and running river are high quality, not high-pitched or tinny. This is soothing, my almost 3 month old likes it and it almost made me fall asleep too. The remote works well too, which is usually a problem with these types of items. It is super high quality, heavy weight materials. Make sure you don't cut the straps that are to hold it in the crib, as they attach it in the box, and even though there's a big red crossed circle sign telling you not to cut them, it took me a minute to process what it meant, and I was in such a hurry to get this out and working and show the baby that I almost cut them anyway (we parents are programmed to break out the chainsaw to get toys out of their packages these days!) Really a good value for the money, I am so glad I went to see this and didn't pass it up! You will NOT be disappointed, go ahead and buy it on line if you like the idea and photos, you will LOVE the actual item!
Mesmarizing! November 4, 2007 Katrina Foard (Virginia, USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
We love this crib mobile. It is completely mesmarizing. The sound and options are great. You can do music only, bubbles only or all motion and sound. 3 sound levels. It comes with a remote, but we found out that our remote control to our TV controls the mobile too. Not a problem, just funny! It does run through batteries quickly if you run it all "full power" frequently. WORTH IT!
Even my toddler LOVES it! September 10, 2007 Cheri M. Higginbotham (Cedar Park, TX) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
My 2 1/2 year old son begged to be put in the crib with my 6 month old daughter. "Mommy, I yike the pish!" he cried, as dragged him out of her bed and into his. Meanwhile my daughter fell fast asleep as the soothing sounds continued to play. The best part is I can restart it with the remote without her even knowing I am there. I think I will be ordering another one. Very cool toy!
Very relaxing! September 22, 2007 Brian Schear (Cedar Rapids, IA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just purchased this item today and was pleased to see that it fits wonderfully with our convertible crib that has thick, curved edges. It attaches using plastic straps that go over the crib bar, so you can adjust based on your own crib (it has holes to attach at 5", 6", 7", 8 1/2", and 9 1/2"). We do not have our baby yet, so I can't comment on how well infants enjoy this item. But, I sat in the nursery listening to it for about 10 minutes and nearly fell asleep in the chair as it is so relaxing! The remote control works from approximately 10 feet away assuming that there is nothing blocking it. The volume is also at a decent level, the lowest setting might be perfect for a baby laying in the crib but was too quiet for me to really hear sitting about 3 feet away in the rocking chair. At the highest setting, I could barely hear it standing about 10 feet away in a different room.
very relaxing November 25, 2007 S. Durham (TX, United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this product. Oh yeah, my baby loves it too! It has a wide selection of music and sounds that relax and help put baby to sleep. My girl likes the sound of running water. Like a real aquarium, it is just such a relazing toy. I love the remote control b/c I can control it from the door without disturbing baby. It was very easy to set up as well. My husband and I said that we would put it next to our bed if baby didn't like it!! Anyway, I highly recommend this product!!!
